VNA’s LifeStages program helps Maine families dealing with the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can make caring for an elder loved one even more difficult. LifeStages offers compassionate care for all involved.
Our managers and caregivers are trained in Alzheimer’s care, and work with clients residing at home or in assisted living or independent facilities. Every LifeStages caregiver is specifically trained to understand the unique challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Our program:
- is approved by the Alzheimer’s Association;
- is taught by an Occupational Therapist who has expertise in Alzheimer’s; and
- requires twelve hours of hands-on training.
With our expertise in Alzheimer’s and other Dementia, our client receives top quality, continuous care from our highly trained staff. Our Care Managers are Nurses and Occupational Therapists who work with families of Alzheimer’s clients to develop appropriate care plans that ease the burden from the family caregivers.
First, a care manager would meet with you and your family to evaluate your loved one. Next, they would develop a care plan focused on quality of life and safety. This plan will also be tailored to meet your family’s specific needs. Your family can receive every resource necessary to comfortably manage Alzheimer’s, all from VNA.
Let VNA help you and your family manage Alzheimer’s. Our skilled care managers and caregivers can reduce the challenges on your family by providing professional, compassionate care from the initial stage of Alzheimer’s through its progression.
